This is a Pukei-Pukei Freestyle Hunt. The high rank 5* quest is ‘Go Away, Pukei’. I use the Rajang Charge Blade with Counter Spam in this hunt. The health pool ranges from 11480 to 13120. I use Dango Weakener to roll for the 11480 health pool.
Hunter notes:
-In my testing, savage axe was easier to use, but its been a while since I used counter spam, so that’s what I used in this hunt. It was a way to challenge myself by using my least used playstyle. I should practice it more because its fun and more rewarding than savage axe.
-I did lose 30 seconds from fighting Pukei in the area 3, but at least I didn’t have to deal with bullfangos tackling me mid combo in area 9.
-Counter spam punishes greedy game play and bad positioning, so its one thing I should practice even more using this playstyle. There were several missed or poorly positioned supers.
